Cee I Do's

I have never seen a more romantic place in Juneau than today. We were contacted by the brides sister, Mandy, a few weeks ago, and asked to shoot a very simple wedding, but more importantly, capture some family photos. So I met the bride, Christa, and her mom and mother in law to be, at Rejuvenation Day Spa. We spent a few moments getting to know each other and plan the day. Because the weather in Juneau can change at any moment, we changed our plans to take some images at the Treadwell mines and focused on images at the venue, the Jorgenson House B&B.

Christa and Vince are the sweetest couple that I have ever met. Very quite and reserved, but their love shined thru and thru. We spent a few moments capturing images around the house, and then headed down to the "park" a little ways down the street.

Back at the house, the settings for dinner had been set and after a few family photos dinner would be served and Christa and Vince would say their I Do's.

We captured some very simple and elegant images of the house and family and then left the family to share in their special day. Although I wanted to stay and see the entire ceremony, I understand how special this couple and their family are and having this once and a lifetime moment shared between just them will forever be their special memory.
